Thoughts About Life

As I sat and thought about why we “do church,” and why come to a building to meet together in a religious community, I came to several conclusions.

This being one:

We need each other, and so we need this place
To worship and praise and laugh and cry and think.
We call ourselves a family gathered by God
Not because this place is in itself holy ground,
But because what we do here and say here, and are here
Make it so.
